Bunyip

Bunyip is located on the Eastern Line in Gippsland. The line to Bairnsdale was electrified in the 1950s, but largely de-electrified by the 1990s. A section was maintained out to Bunyip for testing electric trains, since removed, but some of the stanchions remain in situ and are heritage protected.
